Default New Weapon

I think there should be katars. Sorta like katanas but there is a handle bar where to hold it like a gauntlet it straps onto your hands as if they are Claws. or like the wolverine claws except its a blade. Id be guessing if they existed fighters or what ever class fights with these would be able to get a special move if they put the skill in that lets you spin around and slash with both. That does like 5 damage per hit but hits in a second 2-5 times a second. And average is 3 hits a second. Be good with speed builds. Cuz id prefer speed over power. Fast hits is better then BIG SLOW and really HEAVY hits. Cuz you can kill sum1 fast who got big hits but slow.

We need more weapons overall... like two-handed swords, crossbows (so ranger/caster types can use a bow AND a focus), Morning Stars....

The selection of weapons is really small when you consider many different names look the same.

I don't know if you've ever noticed, but a crossbow takes two hands to operate...

People have been asking for a stealth class for a while, which would use daggers or katars. More weapons would require new classes, so they're not going to go making dozens of new types...

I still think that the necromancer focus that looks like a clawed glove should be a weapon instead.

Fist weapons would be cool, we should have gauntlests with damage modifiers so you can have characters slap-boxing the **** out of zombies!

I disagree on principle. Evlesoa's ideas are the grab bag of the worst of older posts suggesting new classes and weapons and swimming and so on... while new weapons would be a nice thing jumping onto the Katar, katana, etc... bandwagon.

Yeah, I forgot about reloading, too. I guess you could use your teeth, then it might shoot off on accident and hit your ally though....

Maybe an Insightful bow mod then.

I'm sorry, but that is NOT constructive, Bash.... telling someone to STFU GO PLAY ANOTHER GAME doesn't give a bit to the community.

New weapons would be nice. I never got to see a shadowblade but the screenies I have seen from the betas look very good, easily the best looking sword.

Maybe people are thinking of the drow hand crossbows from AD+D ? Personally I'd like the option to dual weld,I mean if Devona can do it on the video why did she go back to using her rock on a stick ?

speaking of weapons... It would be nice if warriors could wield 2 weapons. I know, I know, some of you will say that warriors can real bada$$ now, it wont be fair w/ the other classes and so on.

They can deal double damage, but they take recieve big damage too, sounds fair now???

(dreaming)DAng!! it would be cool to see my W/R weilding 2 max Fiery dragon swords(dreaming)

Spears, Two handed swords/axes, Blunts (Flails, Maces, Morning Stars, One handed hammers), but for the love of god.. No crossbows they don't fit rangers at all.

Maybe if there were some kind of new class like granedier or something who used muskets, pistols and repeating crossbows... Then maybe.
